Basilica of St. Simeon - Syria: After St. Simeon death in 459 AD the largest church at that time was built in his honour 60 km north of Aleppo. The complex is made up of a monastery, a baptistery with an adjacent church propylaea and a distinctive church or martyrion, with a Greek cross.
