Lübeck, the Queen of the Hanseatic League, was founded in 1143 “as the first occidental City at the Baltic Coast” and stands for an exemplary character for all Hanseatic Cities of the Baltic provinces. Mediaeval ambience and historic sites determine until today the cityscape and are remembrances of the important history as a Free- and Hanseatic City. During its 11th conference from December 7th – 11th, 1987, the International UNESCO-World Heritage Commission incorporated the Old Town as world culture heritage in its register.

Summer 2019 marks the 200th anniversary of the second edition of the Grimm fairytales, the first time the story of the fearless four appeared. The fairytale festivities will take place from March to October. From 23 March to 1 September 2019.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site is a place (such as a forest, mountain, lake, island, desert, monument, building, complex, or city) that is listed by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as of special cultural or physical significance. The list is maintained by the international World Heritage Programme administered by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee, composed of 21 UNESCO member states which are elected by the General Assembly.
There are 17 cultural sites in Iran known as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. In the following table these sites are listed in the order of the year they have been submitted.

With a single ticket seven days can now be interested to visit the archaeological site of Acropolis, Ancient Agora, Roman Agora, the Library of Hadrian, the Theater of Dionysos, the Olympieion, the Museum and the Archaeological Site of Kerameikos. The new fares will apply from the spring, namely the following season. The aim is to enhance the tourist appeal and traffic, with tickets available, the largest one day. Simultaneously adjusted some values to archaeological sites have been manipulated.
