Samarkanda- Uzbekistán - Uzbekistan: A orillas del río Zeravshán. Una de las más antiguas del Asia Central. Sus orígenes se remontan hasta la conquista persa, hace más de 2500 años. Tamirlane set up the capital of his huge empire in Samarkand at the end of 14th century.
